My Story

Why I Founded Inward Clarity

For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to balance and harmony. Yet my own life has been a continuous journey through change.

Growing up in a multicultural environment showed me early that people can experience the same world very differently. Engineering and data science shaped my analytical way of thinking, while motherhood, nurturing, and caring for others deepened my understanding of people. Through shifting roles and unexpected transitions, I repeatedly found myself in new realities. Each time, I turned inward, seeking to understand what I was experiencing, how I was responding, and how I needed to grow and evolve to meet life well.

Meditation became an essential part of that journey. So did a lifelong curiosity about why we experience life the way we do. Over time, I came to understand something that now feels fundamental to me:

Before we can ask others to truly see and understand us,we have to learn how to see and understand ourselves.

When my children left home, I entered another transition. I knew I wanted the next chapter of my life to be about helping people, although I didn't yet know what form that would take.

I became certified in life and executive coaching and trained in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, initially as much for my own development as for anything I might eventually do professionally. NLP gave me language and structure for much of what I had been discovering throughout my life: how our perceptions, beliefs, and patterns shape the way we experience and respond to our reality.

At the same time, I began seeing a larger need.

Our world is evolving extraordinarily quickly. Our external capabilities have grown enormously, but our inner capabilities have not always evolved at the same pace. We are being asked to navigate more change, uncertainty, information, and possibility, often while relying on ways of operating developed for a different reality.

That was when the pieces came together.

My own journey of growth. My desire to help others. My coaching and NLP training. The analytical perspective I had developed through engineering and data science, the human understanding that came through motherhood and a life of nurturing and caring for others, and what I was seeing happening in the world.

Together, they became Inward Clarity.

I took what life had taught me, what I had intentionally learned, and the capabilities I had developed, and shaped them into a way of helping others do what I had spent much of my own life learning to do:

That's why I created Inward Clarity.
